Happy Fourth of July!

**PRACTICE TIME CHANGES** Beginning this week, evening practices will ONLY be on Mondays and Wednesdays. However, there is NO PRACTICE tonight (Monday, July 4).

Here’s what’s happening this week:

Pizza Party at the Pool on Thursday, July 7 to get us ready for SMI! It’s $5 for 2 slices of pizza and a bottle of water per person- please place your order on Swimtopia by tomorrow at noon! https://concordhills.swimtopia.com/shop

The Piranhas will compete in the Smoky Mountain Invitational this weekend!

11 and ups will swim on Saturday, July 9; 10 and unders will swim on Sunday

Specific information for this meet will be sent out this week- please be on the lookout for information about schedules, parking, etc.

JOB SHIFTS- these will be loaded into Swimtopia as soon as we receive them. PLEASE consider volunteering- our team is fined 50 points per shift for unfilled shifts- this can severely impact our overall score!

VILLAGE GREEN and CITY MEET declarations are OPEN! Please declare your swimmer as attending or not attending by FRIDAY, JULY 8 at 5pm

Job shifts are open! This is our last regular meet- if you have not completed your job shift requirements this season, PLEASE SIGN UP NOW! Thank you to all of you who have completed your requirements and to those who have above and beyond their required number of shifts- we appreciate you!

CITY MEET IMPORTANT INFORMATION-

CITY MEET will take place on July 21-23, 2022.

When declaring, you are welcome to request events for your swimmers. Coach Lucy will do her best to honor those requests while still looking at the overall success of the team. Please be sure to declare your swimmer as ATTENDING or NOT ATTENDING so that Coach Lucy can be sure of who will be there.

10 and unders swim on Thursday; 11 and ups swim on Friday. Finals for both age groups are on Saturday.

July 8 is our deadline on Swimtopia for all City Meet entries, parking passes, and shirt orders.

PARKING PASSES- parking passes can be ordered on Swimtopia and are $10 per day. https://concordhills.swimtopia.com/shop

T-SHIRTS- T-shirts can be ordered on Swimtopia- they are $15 per shirt. PLEASE NOTE: when ordering shirts, please be sure to order via the link that describes your swimmer (10 and under, 11 and up). The back of the shirts will have the names of all of the swimmers in those age groups, so you want to be sure to order the correct one! https://concordhills.swimtopia.com/shop

JOB SHIFTS- be on the lookout for job shifts to be loaded into Swimtopia once we receive them. As with SMI, it is imperative that we fill these positions. Any shift that is not fulfilled will deduct 25 points per position, affecting our overall score, and $20 per infraction.
