Hello Piranhas-

We hope you had an amazing 4^th of July weekend and are ready for our last dual meet tomorrow at Fox Den!

Tomorrow night, Monday, July 8, the Concord Hills Piranhas will take on the Fox Den Red Foxes at their pool at 6:00pm. A separate email with further information has gone out to those of you who will be attending, so be on the lookout for that one!

On Wednesday night, July 10, we will be eating at Blaze Pizza in Turkey Creek to carb load before the meet starts on Thursday. This will also be a fundraiser for our team- Blaze will give back 20% of their proceeds to the Concord Hills Swim Team! The event runs from 5-9pm and you can dine in, carry out, or even order online or through the app! Please present the attached flyer when ordering.

Here is the practice schedule for this week:

Monday, July 8- morning practice only

Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10- morning and evening practice

Thursday, July 11- there will be ONE practice held for the 11 and up swimmers who are attending City Meet, from 9:30-10:30am. There will be NO practice for the 10 and under swimmers.

NO PRACTICE FRIDAY, JULY 12

GKAISA CITY MEET CHAMPIONSHIP MEET: City Meet will take place Thursday, July 11 through Saturday, July 13.

Preliminaries for swimmers 10-Under will be held on Thursday, July 11. Warm-ups will begin at 1:00 pm, with a meet start time of 3:00 pm.

Preliminaries for swimmers 11-Up will be held on Friday, July 12. Warm-ups will begin at 7:00 am, with a meet start time of 9:00 am.

Finals will be held on Saturday, July 13 for the top 16 in each event. Warm-ups will begin at 7:00 am, with a start time of 9:00 am.

We will communicate about job shifts and other City Meet related information in an email to those who are participating in the next day or two.

Our End of the Season Party is this Sunday, July 14 from 6:30-9:00pm. If you are new to the team, our swimmers are paid for by the team. Additional family members (parents or other kids) are paid by each family. Please make sure to check out at the team store and rsvp with the exact number of people eating at the banquet including your swimmers. The deadline for this is Tuesday, July 9th at NOON. The restaurant catering is a small business and related to one of our swim families so we are excited to support local companies!

After you pay for your meals, go ahead and RSVP for our Parent/Swimmer relay at the End of the Year party! Every swimmer and parent are invited to participate; however, every swimmer must have a parent participate as well in order to race.
