Good morning Piranhas!

As we prepare for our dual meets this summer, we are in need of parents willing to serve as Certified Officials for those meets. Certification is required by the Greater Knoxville Area Interclub Swimming Association (GKAISA) for all individuals serving as Referee, Starter, or Stroke & Turn Judge. These are essential roles that we have to fill with a few perks (Parking in the pool parking lot for all home swim meets that you are working and a discount on your swimmers’ 2027 registration fee when joining the team next year!).

• All Officials with certifications for the 2026 season may be found here.
  • If your certification expired, you will need to go through the recertification process:
  • Stroke and Turn: online clinic and testing procedure and when passed it is good for 3 years. In order to obtain a license for the class on strokeandturn.com please email GKAISA at [email protected]. More information can be found here.
  • Starter and Deck Referee: no online service is available at this time and GKAISA will hold two online clinics and the Official will need to take the appropriate test. The two clinics scheduled for this year:
