What a great celebration of the season we had last Monday.  For those who were unable to attend, you missed the great slide show that Faith Presnell put together and you did not get your end of the year gift of a Piranhas tank with everyone's name on the back.  Luckily, Robin Wilde will be happy to make arrangements to get you your tank, and we still have a few CDs of the slide show if you would like to purchase one for $2.  You can text her at 865.384.6217 or email her at [email protected] to make arrangements to pick up or have her drop at school for FIS or FMS students next week.

If you have not had a chance to complete a survey for the year to include voicing your preference for next year's team suit, please take 3-4 minutes to do so online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/S2JT88G. It is only 9 questions, and comments are not required.  Surveys are anonymous unless you chose to identify yourself.  We want to hear from everyone, those who thought the season was wonderful and those who see plenty of room for improvement.  We want to address concerns and make sure we repeat successes!

Finally, we want to make sure we have done all we can to address any remaining issues with Zone Swimwear.  

• If you ordered spirit wear such as hoodies, tanks, hats, etc, you should have already received a refund on your original method of payment directly from Zone.  Please let us know if you did not get that money back.  
• If you ordered a suit and never got one that was wearable, please email us at [email protected].  We will turn in your name so Zone can process your refund.  Please note that this is not the path for those who got a suit that they could wear, even if the fit was not optimal (see below). 
• If you got a wearable suit but were unhappy with the fit compared to the sizing suits or are upset because you only had the suit for a few weeks of the season, you may contact them directly at 703-995-2595 or [email protected].  If you reach out to them and do not get a response in a reasonable amount of time, please let us know so we can try to grease the wheels.

Thank you again for a great summer of swimming.  We appreciate your patience in dealing with all the changes that had to occur this year as we restructured and worked out a new relationship with the homeowners association. Managing this transition coupled with dealing with the swimsuit issues made it a complicated summer, and we are so grateful for your support and understanding as tried to create the best outcomes for all of our children.  We will always welcome more volunteers in our ranks, so please email us if you are willing to give a little extra time next season.
