It is ok to get your cap wet before a race in these areas, but please do not get in the pool or fill containers or toys in these locations. Lifeguards have been instructed to reinforce this going forward. We thank you for your cooperation.yes
    • Ribbons will be finished up over the weekend and available at practice next week in the designated ribbon box alphabetized by last name. Remember when you retrieve your child’s ribbons weekly to leave the envelope and just take the ribbons each time. smiley

    • And the score is..............Concord Hills: 338  Village Green: 390 – SOOO Close!
    • Everyone did a FANTASTIC job last night and the coaches are proud of you all! How AWESOME did you do? Amount of time dropped as a team overall 394.17 seconds!!!! That's 6 minutes 34 seconds and 17 one hundredths! Way to go vicious fishes!!
    • A brand new “fastest times” board will be posted next week. Be sure to check it out and cheer on your team mates for a job well done!
    • A BIG THANK YOU to all the meet team, judges, and parents for helping us run this big meet very efficiently last night and wrapping it up on time at 10pm.

CUSTOM SUIT ORDER UPDATE / RECAP

    • Silicone caps have been received and they look great!
    • Boys jammers suits arrived late yesterday and we have distributed a good number of them as of last night at the meet. We have found that the vendor shorted us in some sizes and we are addressing that with them. If your boy has not picked up his suit, please email us at [email protected] and we will arrange a practice time pick up for you. It is very important that you do that asap as we need to address corrections with them in a very timely manner given the production issues that we have had with them.
    • T-shirts for those that ordered by the 5/13 deadline may also be picked up by arrangement at practice.
    • T-shirts for those that ordered suit packages post 5/13 are being put into production this week. It likely will be two weeks on those orders to get to us.
    • The girls’ suits were delayed due to a production issue, but Zone is anticipating us getting the girls’ custom suits to us this next week (June 19th -23rd) with emphasis on hopefully having those in hand for next meet Thursday with Green Meadow.
    • For those of you who ordered other spirit-wear- hoodies, polos, etc.- from the Zone website, those have not shipped yet, but they will send them as soon as they receive them from a 3rd party manufacturer.
    • Please know that we have been in constant communication with Zone and they are very aware of our frustration and disappointment in meeting their promised timeline.  We have and are doing everything we can to get team suits and apparel here ASAP.  As soon as we have a box in hand, we will let you know when and how we will distribute.  Thank you for your patience and support! yes

NEXT MEET – Green Meadow @ Home – Next Thursday, June 22nd

    • RSVP for Swimmers! PLEASE READ ME!
      • Deadline for Swimmers is this Sunday, June 18th at 1PM. That afternoon Coach Breanna and her staff will make the best strategies to plan each event for success and produce the heat sheets. If you find you can swim after the RSVP is locked out online, reach out to Coach Breanna and she will make adjustments to the heat sheet as she can. It may mean that your child will not compete in a planned relay, but they can always swim in an individual stroke heat--even if it’s day of. If you want to swim, we will do our best to add you in where you want to be.
      • Remember RSVP means Yes OR No. We need to know if you are not attending as well please so we don’t have to track down non-replies.
      • While you are on the site, why not sign up your swimmer for all the meets – yes or no- for the season?? You can always change it on the site if your plans change, but if you enter them all up front (and verify they saved) then you have no worries for the season planning wise!
    • CHP Volunteers for Green Meadow
      • SIGN UP STATUS -We are doing AWESOME for this sign up! Thank you!! We still need a 2nd half Stroke and Turn official and Overcall Judge. Additionally, we are ADDING a position for Ribbon Writer to the list of this and upcoming events. This position writes the times on the back of the ribbon labels.
      • CHECK YOUR SIGN UPS FOR THIS ONE PLEASE! Some of you signed up in April for your shifts and haven’t been back since, please verify your worker position for Green Meadow and what half. If you have not signed up or forgot to save your original so its didn’t take, please take one of the open positions. Please note start times for certain volunteer worker positions are different from swimmer start times. Refer to schedule below for early workers.
      • SINCE YOU ARE HERE - Hey, while you are here, why not sign up your volunteer spots for all the meets for the season?? You need 4 shifts (one half each) to meet your registration obligation. You can always change it on the site if plans change, but if you enter them all up front and verify the save then you have no worries for the season on your plans and fulfilling your volunteer obligation!
      • LAST, but not least please remember to sign the VOLUNTEER SIGN IN sheets at the MEET when you work to verify that you completed your shift. BOTH Volunteers and Swimmers must sign in. If you are working both halves at the same meet, you need to sign twice – once for each position/shift on the sign in sheets. If you are switching/filling in, please ask the Volunteer Coordinator for assistance to set the records straight. Thank you! We couldn’t do it with you!! smiley
