    Zone Swim Suit Update

    Dear Piranha Family,

Please plan to wear a swim suit of your own tonight in which you feel comfortable competing.  If you have a team suit from last year that fits, that would be a great option, but certainly not required.  The shipment of girls' suits did not make it out in time last night and will not be here today.  The boys' jammers and first order of T-shirts are on the truck, out for delivery.  They left Kentucky at 11:30, and we are crossing our fingers for a 4:00 delivery.  What does this all mean for tonight?

    1. We will be handing out swim caps as you arrive at the pool this afternoon for those who want to use them.  Please do not take one if you/your child will not be wearing it to swim.  We will check everyone off as they pick up their cap.

    2. If the shipment gets here early enough, we will do our best to hand out the jammers and t-shirts after warm-up.  The boys can change into their team suit at that point if they wish.  Again, plan to wear another suit you are comfortable in just in case!

As we have said before, we are so grateful for your patience.  We know this is very frustrating to everyone involved.  Let's overcome that frustration with team spirit tonight!  Blue, White, win tonight!

    See you at the pool

P.S. - The weather could go either way tonight.  Safety is our number one priority, so if we have any thunder or lightening, please bring an extra helping of patience (as if we haven't already asked for that!) .  It is important that we do our best to get through 40 events tonight even if we have delays because it is extremely difficult to reschedule a meet, deal with setting up for another night, get another slate of volunteers, and redo the event entries to account for different RSVPs for a different date.  If we can get through enough events, the coaches can agree to call the meet early. That is always our goal when dealing with weather delays.
